The expansion of Wildhorse is touted as a major plan, not only because of the length of time and the included budget but also because of the sheer size of the additions. New space to be added in the facility will measure up to 184,000 sq ft, which will include an expansion of 24,000 square feet to the facility’s gaming floor. The rest of the new space will bbe dedicated to the construction of a cinema complex to house four screens and a hotel that will have 202 new rooms and suites. As of the moment, the Wildhorse complex already includes a casino that runs for 24 hours, a hotel, a park for RVs, 5 eating establishments, a sports bar, an 18-hole golf course and a Tribal museum. In line with the anticipated expansion, Wildhorse has tapped INX to apply a unified communications system by Cisco. Moreover, INX has also been tasked to integrate both the facility’s data network and telephony, as well as let the facility incorporate applications for new guests. The upgraded phone system has already been put into use, and so far, it has allowed the casino to decrease the number of its circuits, which has translated to a decrease of costs in telephone communications by as much as 50 percent. Moreover, Wildhorse and INX have partnered to realize a data center that is virtualized so that performance can be optimized while costs can be lowered. The Unified Communications system, infrastructure and the overall performance of the network of the casino resort will be monitored by INX Managed Services.
